ACE's Fundraising Efforts

Historically, the funds raised by ACE have come almost exclusively from the climbing community and its supporters. ACE's mission is to represent climber's interests in Eldorado and to conserve the Eldorado climbing experience. Pursuant to our mission, ACE spends the funds it raises in ways that benefit the climbing community, mitigate the impacts of recreational use in Eldorado, and conserve the Eldorado climbing experience. Other recreational user groups, such as hikers, picnickers and bikers, also benefit from the funds ACE has raised and the work accomplished, but ACE's main focus is to represent the local climbing community. Since 1996, ACE has taken primary responsibility for funding the Eldorado Trails Project. ACE also funds other projects that ACE deems to be appropriate for the welfare of the climbing community and the Park. A recent survey completed by over 140 climbers established that the vast majority of the climbing community supports ACE's efforts on trail maintenance, ACE's support of the Trails Project, ACE's continued efforts at replacing eroding fixed hardware throughout the Park, and numerous other future projects.
